Last wrap up from Colombia – the food. It was mostly fried, but quite good. Like everywhere in South America, had every fruit imaginable. We did a street food tour in Bogota that started it off right. We had some fantastic empanadas at a no-name stall, and learned about the various panes. First, our last day in the city.
Bogota, continued
After a quick nap – we were ready to see Bogota at night. Trouble is our neighborhood, while wonderfully central to historic sites during the day, isn’t where you want to be at night. Bogota could be eerily empty for a city of 7 million.
